Very durable

This canopy is amazing. It survived severe storms for over an hour on a flat barrier island camp site. Easy 50-60 mph winds. It was fully staked with guy lines. The top dropped (as intended) and water pooled in it but it didn't leak through. After the storms I was able to just pop it back up, nothing broken. Only type of free standing canopy in the campground that survived. The sun shade panels are great too. Highly recommend.

Looks very nice

The instructions were not real clear. We had to call their customer service for help.

Stand it upright before releasing the strap

I gave it four stars mostly because the price was reasonable and it arrived earlier than expected. I only just set this up (myself) a few days ago so I can’t speak to durability, etc. yet. However, the setup was annoying enough that I feel compelled to express my complaints.1) BAG. The storage bag is water-resistant but its ZIPPER is NOT. This tent sat in its bag on my patio for well over a week before I opened it, and I found that the instruction booklet inside had been saturated and the pages, still damp, were stuck together. I could pry open enough of the page for setup to see some text but no photos. I am in Northern California where it seldom rains at this time of year and what little rain we had barely wet the ground, but it got into the bag.2) INSTRUCTIONS. Now that I have set it up once and know the particulars, it may be as “easy” as other people claim, but when I took out the tent for the first time and released the retaining strap, I had what seemed like an octopus, all arms jutting out and sliding around. The instructions, which as I said, were damaged so I couldn’t see any illustrations, said to spread it out. Really? I couldn’t tell which side was up and how to “spread” it. When I tried pulling out one of the side tabs, there was no tension against it and it only pulled the whole tent forward. I got my laptop and sought instruction videos. The one on the product site was useless, it skipped right over the most critical initial step of how to spread it out prior to pulling out the sides. The next video I found likewise jumped from taking it out of the bag to having half the sides out already. It was only on a third video that someone actually showed what it looked like “spread out” (which somehow magically happened for him when he took it out of the bag; not so for me) and demonstrated the whole process. At that point, I could get it set up. TIP: Don’t release the restraining strap until you have stood it upright with the top higher than the side arms. In that position, when you release the strap, the arms should fall down into a “spread” position.3) PUSHING UP THE TOP. I am 5’3” and could not reach high enough to fully pop up (or, afterward, retract) the top without standing on something. An aid for this, such as a rod for pushing it up, would have been appreciated.4) TAKING IT DOWN. I found no instructions in any of the videos for taking it down, so I assumed it was just a reverse of the setup. As I said, I needed to stand on something to reach the top to pull it down, but also, there is nothing to grab onto to do that. Unaccountably, there is a pull-tab attached to the OUTSIDE of the top center. Why? We need that pull strap on the inside ceiling. Or perhaps that’s what you are supposed to use in the beginning to pull up the top and let the arms spread, but there was no reference to that anywhere. After collapsing it, trying to get it neatly back in the bag was another issue. I could not fit it in with all the side panels, etc. that came with it.5) QUALITY OF THE MATERIAL. This is obviously not meant for long-term use, only for occasional short-term usage. The material is lightweight (flimsy) and does not stand up well to wind. I bought this to use alongside my travel trailer as I serve as a volunteer campground host at a BLM recreation area for two months this summer. I expect it will not make it through that engagement intact.
