Does Exactly What I Needed

Got this to swap out axle seals on a Dana 44, and it’s been spot-on. Plenty of height to clear the housing and enough muscle to press those stubborn seals right out. One heads-up though – don’t just finger-tighten the release valve. Use the included handle to really crank it down, or you’ll lose pressure when you least expect it. Learned that the hard way. Other than that, it’s a solid tool that gets the job done without any fuss.

Seriously Solid Press

It’s pretty wild that all this steel and cardboard shows up in a box and somehow turns into a press this sturdy. Assembly was quick and straightforward – though I did notice the bottle jack’s shoe wasn’t seated right out of the box and had some spring tension on it, but nothing a little tweaking couldn’t fix.Picked this up to rebuild a differential, and so far it’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it. Like any press, the real secret is digging through your scrap pile for random spacers and arbors – that’s just part of the game. As long as I don’t get dumb with it, I’m pretty confident this thing will hold up for a long time.Built like a tank and does exactly what it’s supposed to. Zero regrets.
