Quieter than I expected, even the outdoor unit. So far my install is performing how I'd hoped.For DIYers, especially first timers, there are a bunch of other things you'll likely need to add. I ended up spending about 2x the cost of these kits themselves in total.Vacuum pump with manifold gauge to evacuate and test the line (both for leaks and to get the air and moisture out of the copper - the outdoor unit is precharged, but the copper lines are not, they get charged by the outdoor unit after the install)Pipe cutter/flaring kit, if your coolant path is substantially shorter than the line set length (about 13').2" hole saw that can get through your walls (in my case a masonry hole saw, for stucco)electrical wire and conduit for the inlet (it's designed to accept 1/2" conduit fitting)some kind of mounting solution (I used wall mounts).line set covers (theoretically optional, but you'll like it a lot better with them)caulk (to seal around the holes)AC disconnect boxwire (I used 12AWG 4 conductor stranded, legal in conduit. the included wire is not)clamps and mounting hardware for your conduitferrules, fork terminals (#8), and the crimping tools to fasten them to your wire15A breaker (and space in your panel)I recommend planning to have the hole on the lower-right of the indoor unit, and relocating the condensation line to come out that hole. Aim for level to leaning slightly to the right, to keep the condensate flowing out. The manual describes some other configurations, but the copper comes out where it comes, and it's way easier if the fittings are on the outside of the house.

Upgraded my 700 sq ft bonus room with this 12,000 BTU mini split, and it’s been an absolute game-changer. We used to freeze in the winter and bake in the summer up there, but this system handles both effortlessly. It reaches the perfect temperature in minutes, whether I need blasting AC or cozy heat. Plus, it looks super sleek on the wall and doesn't block my window view like my old unit did. Highly recommend for any large space!

Great quality, and very easy installation. Just use a vacuum pump on the lines before opening up the lines to charge it. Everything went smooth, and will buy this again in the near future. Will update in the future of any issues
