Honestly sometimes going old school is the best way to go. This heavy duty push lawn sweeper has worked very well compared to some of the motorized ones. Unlike the battery powered ones, this one doesn't run out of batteries and can keep going and doesn't waste fuel like the gas powered ones.The best part is it isn't noisy! The blades on the sweeper are very sharp, maybe because right now it's new, but I can imagine that it would rust a bit if you don't clean it and dry it off. The basket in the back helps, but it won't collect all of the foliage. The wheels are big enough to go over most terrain too. I think this is a good alternative for someone who intends on upkeeping their lawn. You'll need other tools to chop down overgrowth though.

This easy to use, 26 inch push lawn sweeper by GARVEE was a bit tedious to assemble, but not difficult at all. I did it without instructions and it was pretty much common sense. It is well made with stiff rotating bristles to quickly pull all of the yard debris up into the large bag / net. It works well and is easy to push with the long handle. I'm looking forward to using it in the fall (did I just say, "looking forward to using it"?). I guess a better way of saying it is that I'm looking forward to not having to use a rake. This is going to make that happen, for the most part. I should have gotten one of these years ago. The price is very reasonable for the quality and the amount of labor that I am going to save.
