Very nice for residential use trimming trees and roof work!!!

My work around my property is much safer. I have been searching for a basket to use on my tractor forks for a long time. This one is well made and at a reasonable cost. I was going to build one and realized I couldn't do it for the cost of this basket. My wife or my neighbor can now get me to a safe working height to repair my barn or trim trees with a power pole saw. I do double up on the safety attachments to the tractor loader. A safety harness should attach to the tractor and not to the basket. So far I am very impressed with this product in both quality and price.

For the price, you can’t beat it. The only reason I docked it a star was because it was missing a nut. The thing is heavy, and so when it showed up, the packaging was damaged, however the cage was fine, no damage. Also know that it really isn’t useable if you have a 1 series John Deere tractor. I have a 2032R and there is enough weight that you won’t tip, but I wouldn’t be careful with a 2025 and not even try with a 1 series.

Considering the cost, it’s a good purchase. 4 Stars due to a couple design elements that should be improved. Firstly, the gate has individual pins and cotter pins to swing on; these really should have been static pins welded onto the gate for easy removal. Secondly, the fork pockets and retaining pins don’t work well as the pockets are too tall and the pins are mounted too low in relation to where they contact the forks. There is plenty of room for the basket to slide off the forks if you’re not careful, which is the intended purpose of the pins. For my purposes, I’ll just ratchet strap it to the headache rack of the forks, but it should be noted for buyers that might be using forks without a rack.
