Making my personal jungle in one corner of the garage and stood this up in a corner that needed something tall. First thing I noticed is the basket, and I know some reviews knock it, but mine looks good. The woven basket plus the moss filler packed in around the base finishes the bottom so you're not staring at a bare pot. The pro move is to always place your fake trees in better pots, at least this came with something. No separate planter to go buy.It comes across a little sparse out of the box. Real olive trees look like that though, open and silvery, not a packed-tight bush. The airy gaps look accurate to me, not cheap. The branches are wired so you fluff and spread them, and it fills in fine for a corner. Fluffing does take a bit of time.Real olive trees can live for centuries, but they wouldn't get a chance here. Anything green in this house is on borrowed time the second my wife notices it, so the fake one sidesteps the whole problem.This is another GARVEE plant that turned out right, so the brand's earned some trust from me. Six foot, basket included, and it looks like an olive tree from where anyone actually stands. My one gripe is that they put one of the sticker guides for which stem goes where on the same stem. Wasn't hard to figure out, but still a detail. Assembly was quick, the fluff wasn't, but overall it was stable in the pot.

It has some pros and cons.Pros: Super easy to assemble, comes with a nice basket and moss to cover tree base, fairly full, branches and bark look more real than many fake trees, light and easy to move, and tree is stable once on ground in the basketCons: The branches are all in one line so it has a bit of an odd shape. You can try and spread the small branches out to help, but the main tree limbs are all in one row. The leaves come a bit bent and I am not sure the type of fabric will eventually unwrinkle itself. Price tag is a bit high, so the value will lie in the way you can use it/how much you like it.overall though, I can recommend and this is far better than some fake trees I have purchased on here.

I added this 6FT faux olive tree to my living room, and it has been a great way to bring some greenery into the space without any maintenance. The leaves and olive details look more realistic than I expected, especially once the branches are fluffed and shaped a bit after unboxing.The included woven basket is a nice touch and makes it look more finished right away. I didn’t have to go shopping for a separate planter, which saved some time and made it easy to place directly in the corner where I wanted it.It does take a little adjustment to get the branches positioned so it looks fuller and more natural, but once shaped it holds its form well. From a normal viewing distance, it blends in nicely with real decor and adds a warm, clean look to the room.Overall, it’s an easy decorative piece that works well if you want the look of a real plant without watering, sunlight, or upkeep.
