I picked this barricade up for live show production where I handle sound, and it fits that role perfectly. Crowd management is just as important as the audio side of a show, especially when there are cables, power distribution, and other equipment that people need to stay away from. This gives me another solid tool for directing foot traffic where I want it to go.My primary use will be creating barriers around cable runs and equipment areas. Combined with cable ramps and other crowd management gear, it makes it much easier to guide people around the work area instead of through it. The bright orange finish is a nice choice because it stands out well in both daylight and dimly lit venues.The construction is impressively solid. It's made from heavy steel, feels durable, and the removable feet make it easy to transport and store when the job is done. Once assembled it feels stable, and I like that multiple sections can be linked together if you need to create a longer barrier or change directions around an obstacle.This is definitely more substantial than the lightweight plastic barriers you often see. For anyone working concerts, festivals, construction sites, or any event where you need a durable, reusable barricade, this is a practical investment that should hold up well for years of regular use.
This safety barricade is exactly what I was looking for. The galvanized steel construction feels extremely sturdy and durable, and the bright orange finish makes it highly visible from a distance. Assembly was quick and easy, and the removable feet make transportation and storage very convenient.The interlocking design is a great feature, allowing multiple barricades to be connected for larger areas when needed. I've used it outdoors, and it has held up well to weather and regular use without any issues.Whether for crowd control, parking areas, events, or temporary work zones, this barricade gets the job done. Solid construction, great visibility, and excellent value for the money. Highly recommended!
These barriers are not the heavy duty commercial ones as one might expect from the advertised photos. It is a bit misadvetised. As seen in my photos, these require assembly with bolts. It comes boxed; once assembled, a child can lift them with one hand. The pins do not easily align to join pieces; the bottom pin consistently looks bent. They are not powder coated. One barrier looks crooked. With that said, for $75 a piece, it will suit my needs for awhile.
