This is such a great outdoor patio umbrella. It is sturdy and blocks the sun very well. The hand crank works really well and functions very smoothly.There are solar lights all along the ribs of the umbrella with an easy on and off button on the underside. That really adds to the evening ambience and provides enough lighting for evening activities. We have a coastal breeze that comes through daily and I can see that this offset patio umbrella does sway with the wind, but it is made to pivot and handles the wind very well.You do need a weight on the bottom to keep it upright.The top of the umbrella is also vented to help with airflow and reducing wind pressure.It gets really sunny on my deck and I really wanted something like this to cut the sun going into my window a bit and to provide shade for my deck loveseat. This umbrella accomplishes both of those tasks and I am really pleased.I am really happy with this GARVEE 9 foot patio umbrella and highly recommend it. It has all the features I want in a patio umbrella and works extremely well.

I received this "GARVEE 9FT Patio Umbrella with 32 Solar LED Lights" in the beige color. This is a great quality patio umbrella and it was easy to set up right out of the box. Make sure you take the solar panel out of the box and place it in the sun to charge. The solar panel gets plugged into the top of the umbrella. There is a small on/off switch which makes it easy to turn the solar lights on and off at night. The beige color is neutral and matches well with my back patio. I think this color will resist fading in the Florida sun. The easy tilt operation has a push button for more angles and a hand-crank lift for easy set-up and take-down. It is very easy to open and close the umbrella with the crank lift, even my 9 year old daughter can do it. The patio umbrella is made of polyester and is waterproof and UV resistant. I see this lasting a long time and it is easy to clean. The value is excellent for the price and I highly recommend this if you need some shade in the backyard or the pool.
