This hose is so much better than the old thin vinyl one that I used to have. This one is made of substantial reinforced material that has some heft to it - yet it still rolls up flat and doesn't take up much space at all. It came with two standard/typical hose clamps. I'm using it as the pool backwash hose that it is but it also fits a sump pump I have and will be using it for that too when needed. Overall, the product description and photos fairly reflects the hose that I received and I am very pleased with the length and quality. Just my own opinions and experience here, yours may differ. Excellent replacement backwash hose. Does what it should. I had to replace an 8 year old hose. This is pretty much an exact replacement. 2 thumbs up.

Keeping up with pool maintenance gets exhausting, so having the right gear makes a huge difference. This hose is perfect for backwashing because it doesn't leak, crack, or kink up even when the water pressure spikes. The thick PVC material is really good quality and feels like it'll easily survive a few seasons of dragging across the concrete and baking in the hot sun.It fits perfectly onto the standard waste port, and the heavy duty metal clamps secure it tightly so it doesn't slip off mid discharge. Having a reliable setup like this is an essential to have if you own a pool.

This is a really nice, heavy duty backwash hose that comes with 2 metal clamps to attach to your pump. This is flexible and pressure resistant. It did not collapse when we attempted to backwash the pool. We also bought a second one that we use on our dog wash station as it allows hair and other debris to drain without clogging up. When it's not in use, it lays flat so it isn't a tripping hazard. The nice 50' length allows us to direct the water where we need to to drain to so it avoids puddling right at our feet. I think this is a great value and is highly recommended by us.
