One note: they are heavyweights, but they need to be - good design.The hydraulic lifting system operates smoothly and raises the vehicle to a comfortable working height. I grabbed these hydraulic ramps because my standard plastic ones just were not getting my car high enough off the ground. The built in jacks are a really smart idea. You just drive onto the ramp like usual, and then pump the hydraulic jack to lift the car another few inches. It gives you a lot of extra breathing room when you are underneath changing the oil or checking things out. The metal build feels very sturdy and I definitely trust these more than the hollow plastic ones I was using before.They are definitely on the heavy side, which makes them a little annoying to drag out of the corner of the garage, but that weight is probably why they feel so safe to work under. The platforms are wide enough that I did not feel like my tires were hanging off the edges. The only real downside is that you have to pump each side manually, so it takes a minute to get the car leveled out. Also, make sure you check your boxes when they arrive to ensure the hydraulic jacks are actually included. I bought these primarily for servicing my side-by-side ATV rather than a passenger vehicle.
