After running out of ice during several backyard gatherings, I decided to install this machine in my home bar area. It has definitely solved that problem. The ice production is impressive, and the storage bin holds enough ice for parties without constantly needing refills.I like the flexibility of both direct water line and manual water fill options. The LED display is simple to use, and the self cleaning function makes routine maintenance easier. It also looks nice installed under the counter.I’m giving it 4 stars because it is noisier than I expected, especially when actively making ice. It also takes some planning to ensure proper ventilation and installation space.Overall, this is a reliable ice maker that produces a lot of ice quickly and works well for home entertaining or small business use.

This is a really powerful commercial ice maker! First off, I want to note that this thing is pretty heavy and quite bottom heavy, so definitely take care when moving it around, it is not exactly the easiest thing to maneuver.It does produce a huge amount of ice though, and the cubes themselves come out really large on the largest setting.I will say getting the settings dialed in took a bit of trial and error at first. Some of the settings led to huge trays of cubes that were all stuck together, which was a bit frustrating, but once I found the right setting for my needs, it has been working perfectly every single time since.The water bottle that sits on top is a nice convenience feature, but I will note it is not actually secured in place, so just be really careful around it since it would be incredibly easy to accidentally knock over.Price-wise, at $329.99 for a commercial grade ice maker producing up to 130 lbs a day, I think it is a pretty solid price for the capacity and features you are getting.Overall, it is a really powerful and capable ice maker, just be mindful of the weight when moving it, take some time to dial in your ideal settings, and watch out for that unsecured water bottle on top!

Installation is flexible depending on how permanent you want the setup to be. You can keep it simple by using a water jug on top and running the drain wherever is convenient, or go the more permanent route like we did by connecting it under the sink with a water line and dedicated drain hose. Neither option is particularly complicated, though the permanent setup does take a little more time and planning.Getting the ice thickness dialed in exactly how you want it takes some trial and error over the first few uses, but the adjustments are straightforward once you understand the settings. After a few weeks of regular use it's been running quietly and consistently, which is exactly what you want from something that's just supposed to work in the background. We have a family of six, so our ice needs are heavy and this pumps out quality ice and a really great speed. They are small enough to fit in reusable bottles.One thing worth mentioning is that ours arrived with a couple of small dents that didn't affect performance at all and honestly you wouldn't notice unless someone pointed them out, but it's worth inspecting on arrival just to document anything before setup. For anyone who entertains regularly or just wants a serious ice supply at home, this is a solid machine that delivers on its promises once you get it configured the way you want it.

Finding a decent machine that actually fits under a standard commercial bar is surprisingly difficult but this one slides in perfectly. Pumping out one hundred thirty pounds of fresh ice over twenty four hours keeps my bartenders extremely happy on busy Friday nights. The built in self cleaning function saves my staff a ton of time during closing shift duties instead of scrubbing everything by hand. Keeping thirty six pounds of ready to use cubes in the insulated storage bin ensures we never hit a total dry spell. While the dual water inlet mode is quite clever hooking up the direct water line took a bit of creative plumbing with the supplied fittings. The LED display is very intuitive but I do wish the low water alarm was just a tiny bit louder over the ambient bar noise. Overall it is an excellent under counter upgrade that pushes out a serious amount of frost without completely breaking the equipment budget.
