We needed something narrow, with both open and closed storage, and this GARVEE sideboard delivered on all fronts.First Impressions & Assembly:The packaging was excellent, with no damage. Assembly took my partner and me about 45 minutes. The instructions were logical, and all parts (including the tools) were there. Once built, the quality was immediately apparent—the 'light oak' finish is warm and realistic, not orange or cheap-looking. The rattan weave on the doors adds wonderful texture and boho charm.Functionality & Storage:The two drawers are smooth-gliding and perfect for storing keys, mail, and dog leashes. The adjustable shelf inside the cabinet is genius—we set it high to fit tall bottles and a decanter for a mini bar setup. The four open shelves are ideal for displaying plants, books, and decorative baskets. At just under 15 inches deep, it fits perfectly in our narrow hallway without feeling bulky.Design & Versatility:It's more attractive in person than online. The Shaker-style frame is simple and classic, letting the rattan doors be the star. We've also considered moving it to the dining room as a buffet. It's that versatile. I really love this cabinet.The step by step by step instructions were very detailed, making assembly easy. The rattan on the doors gives the cabinet that custom look. There is a lot of storage inside that could have many uses. There are many ways that this cabinet could be used, and it would function well in all of them. This is a good quality cabinet and a good value for the price.
