This Chair Couch Stand Assist came in 4 pieces which were easy to assemble. The item is sturdy metal and the finish is nice with rounded contours and smooth paint. There are rubber pads on the bottom piece. The width is set at about 22.5” between the armrests but the height is adjustable. It slides easily and unobtrusively under a couch or chair. It is surprisingly solid and has a balanced weight to it so it does provide good stability and leverage to aid a person when they are sitting or standing up.
Easy to put together. Works fine without being attached to the floor. Really sturdy.
