Having no experience with Garvee products I was reluctant to pull the trigger on this dust collector, but the price was too tempting. I had just looked at a 108 cfm model at Home Depot for basically the same price and then saw the 660 cfm of this one, so I ordered it.
After assembling and connecting it and trying it out to my complete satisfaction, I rolled it around my 12 x 16 woodshop for a while trying to find a place for it. It wound up on the wall, out of the way and exactly where it's needed to serve my stationary bandsaw. My planer and jointer are on a wheeled cart so I can take it to the collector hose when I need to use one of them.
Works far better than I expected. As soon as I connected it to the bandsaw and turned it on I saw chips and dust flying through the hose going into the catch bag. But wait...I hadn't even turned the saw on yet! Sure enough, it scavenged everything my smaller 2" dust collector had failed to extract from the saw cabinet. It's no louder than my Shop Vac, maybe quieter.
Great addition to the shop, can't beat the price and free shipping. I'll look to Garvee for future needs!

After a couple months of steady use, everything is still tight, no loose screws or rattles. Motor starts strong every time.
I tucked the mobile version under my wall rack. It’s out of the way but still easy to roll out when I start a project.
