I like this hydroponic system so well I bought a second one. Definitely recommend the GARVEE brand for Hydroponic growing. Love being able to have fresh salads year round and don't have to leave the house to pick the lettuce. Very convenient for the avid gardener who likes to harvest year round.

Everything grew so fast, faster than any of my soil plants. Why only 3 stars? Well, i had to relocate all the plants including the herbs as the device just couldnt handle grown plants.The multiple spots are iffy as if you fill all slots the light blockage becomes a problem as the plants grow. Easy fix was to not use 4 of the slots-so first change id make is getting one with less slots (but still the same size).Stick to herbs. I did some green onion, tomatos, basil and lettuce of different variety. The tomatoes grew so fast but also tried to take out the whole machine and had to be relocated as it was toppling out like a fish trying to escape. 1 survived the teansplant the other did not do so well going from a wateronly enviro to dirt and mulch. The lettuce grew but kept growing with browning leaves and were oddly very limp. I ended up using the lettuces for animal food. The green onion hated its time there and did not grow any thicker than a rough hair. The basil grew great-BUT it too is not too tall that the lights are damaging the plant. So after 2 months of growing all the plants but 1 in this device have had to be either relocated or plane scrapped.Overall hydroponics are cool! And they work! But if you actually want to do it, you need a better system. Better water pump and more space. The lights were actually really good. Soooooo bright though, id like to note that i did move my system to my basement as the light was blinding.This was a good tester tool to see if yiu like hydroponics but i wiuldnt recommend this to anyone i wiuld instead pass mine along as after helping me decide if i like hydroponics or not its fulfilled its usefullness.

Luckily I got more pods. Every single one that came with this ended up getting mold. (My camera would not focus) so wiped some of the mold with a q-tipOne had little white and clear worms in the mold. I have another system by someone else and had no issues with this.Other than that, nice small system.Update: 6/13/24So I started to notice little clear worms that form on the pods. I used new dirt pods and same thing. I noticed with this system the pump does not run and the pods get super soggy.I have another system by another brand and dont have any issues. No mold, no worms.I wouldnt buy.
