The new grey walnut finish is rich and warm without being too dark, and the combination of rustic wood surface and heavy-duty metal legs gives it a look that works with both industrial and transitional decor styles without committing too hard to either. The 6-8 person capacity makes it practical for everyday family dinners and comfortable for hosting without needing a separate table for larger gatherings.The heavy-duty metal legs feel solid and the table does not wobble or flex under the weight of a full place setting on each side, which was a concern with some of the lighter tables we had considered. Assembly was straightforward and took less than an hour with basic tools. The surface is smooth and easy to wipe clean after meals.
