Switched from a hand‑crank 2‑frame extractor to this 140W 4‑frame electric model and the difference is night and day. The variable speed is fantastic — I start slow to protect the comb and then ramp it up to around 1200 RPM to finish. Frames come out mostly intact and I’m getting noticeably more honey per box. The stainless steel drum cleans up easily, and the new side handles make it much easier to move, even when it’s sticky. For a small backyard beekeeper with 6–10 hives, this is more than enough extractor.

The 140W motor on this extractor is no joke. It spins up quickly and the adjustable dial lets me fine‑tune the speed depending on whether I’m running deep or medium frames.
