These are truly plastic-ish mats . I cut it to fit around a pole then burned the edges to keep from unraveling, worked perfectly however my smoking friend dropped a cigarette and it did put a burn mark on it.Certain outdoor chair will poke holes and go completely through, but for the price, look , and how easy to clean im not mad .
I bought the 10x20 version to cover a large dirt area, and overall I'm happy with it. The size is accurate, it was easy to roll out, and it laid flat without much effort. One thing to know is that this is a woven plastic outdoor rug, not a carpet-style material. That actually worked well for my use since it doesn't hold dirt or moisture like carpet can. It also feels comfortable enough to walk on barefoot.The material is a little lighter than I expected, but considering the price, I think it's a fair tradeoff. Where I live we get extremely strong winds, so it wasn't the ideal choice for my specific conditions unless it was secured well. If you're using it on a patio, campsite, deck, or another sheltered area, I think it would perform even better.It's held up well so far sitting directly on dirt, has been easy to clean, and still looks good after use. Overall, I think it offers excellent value for the money, and I'd recommend it if you're looking for a large, lightweight outdoor rug rather than a heavy carpet mat.
