Good dehumidifier for my basement. It pulls moisture from the air well, and the 22-pint size is a practical option for regular household use. My basement gets a lot of humidity and was filling up the tank overnight, so I was having to carry the bucket to the sink every morning. To avoid the hassle of emptying it every day, I set mine up in continuous drain mode with a condensate pump (not included). The pump activates when the water triggers the float and then pumps it into the utility sink. I like that it is Energy Star certified and has useful features like auto defrost, a 24-hour timer, and auto shutoff. Long term durability is unknown as its only been setup for a month but so far its working well and my basement is much more comfortable and no moldy smell. Overall, a solid choice for keeping humidity under control.

This is a superb dehumidifier and has been running well in my fairly damp basement for weeks. I’m using the external hose, which is a bit short, so opt for a unit with pump out functionality if you need a longer run or a run which doesn’t travel downwards. I have a floor drain, so this unit works perfectly. It also has the collection bucket, so for spaces without drains, it works well. I would have to empty it about every six hours in my space. The unit is quiet and rolls well and is equipped with a sturdy, grounded power cable. It’s sleek and modern looking enough that it would hardly stand out even in a trafficked area of the home and the controls are easy to read on the top of the unit. It does not have a remote (not that one would be needed) and it does include a well written and illustrated instruction manual. All in all a great dehumidifier for my needs and ample for a basement space or elsewhere in a home.

So far there are no surprises. It functions exactly as it should. It’s powerful enough for one floor - original expectation - but in my two-story 1100 sq ft, it’s able to manage the whole home with only the use of a household fan to assist with vertical circulation. Much more efficient and environmentally sustainable than running the AC. Would recommend.
