Just got this fan installed in my garage wall. Overall it is nice, hopefully it’s draws the 3500cfm it claims. I took the hose and gave her a wet down from the outside to depict a good rain storm and is mostly not designed to keep water out. Will have to remove the fan shroud and motor and make some alternations with some silicone and sheeting to make it not leak water on the interior.
My shop outlets are on the wall. This cord is long enough to put the fan where I need it. The silver finish hides shop dust. Blades are metal, not plastic. Built like a tank.
Turned it on in my workshop. Papers flew off the bench on medium. On high it's a hurricane. The silver steel housing looks industrial. Great for garages, greenhouses, or drying floors.
This fan really SUCKS ;) . We use In our sanding shop and it gets the air right out of the shop. Works great!! We added some filters to the front of the box and for us it’s been a great add to having clean air to breath.
