I’m very much a beginner at this, so I’ve mostly been using it with my kids in creeks and around the yard for fun and cleanup.It works really well for what I need. I’ve found coins, screws, and other small metal stuff, and it picks them up accurately. The pinpoint mode helps narrow down exactly where to dig instead of just getting you close. Overall the functionality is better than I expected for the price.Portability is great. It’s lightweight and breaks down easily, which makes a big difference when you’re carrying it out to a creek or packing it in the car. Took this out to the local park for a couple hours and it performed better than expected for the price. Lightweight enough for longer hunts, adjustable shaft fits me fine. Battery life is decent too, and I appreciate that they did include the two 9V batteries it takes.
